Project progress
“Pratarmės” is a residential complex in Visoriai, one of the greenest areas in Vilnius. A small-scale residential neighborhood is being developed at 3 Kairiūkščio St., where the future homes are designed to blend harmoniously with the mature natural surroundings, the natural topography, and the more relaxed pace of life in this part of the city. The project consists of 47 apartments and 2 commercial spaces.
Visoriai allows residents to live in Vilnius while maintaining a close connection with nature. The nearby forest, spanning more than 300 hectares, becomes part of the everyday environment here. It is visible through the windows, accessible for walks, and allows the home environment to extend naturally beyond the building’s boundaries. City amenities and familiar routes remain accessible, yet daily life here offers more tranquility, greenery, and space.
This context is also important for the project’s architecture. The low-rise buildings are designed with the landscape in mind, and their understated forms help maintain a balance between the new residential space and the surrounding nature.
The scale of the project was chosen so that the buildings would not overwhelm the site but would complement the tranquil surroundings of Visoriai. Balconies, terraces, and a green inner courtyard extend the living space outdoors. These design choices provide greater privacy, allow residents to be closer to nature every day, and create a clear connection between the interior spaces, the courtyard, and the surrounding environment.
Its modest scale, proximity to the forest, and connection to daily urban routes create a living environment for those who want to live in the city but wish to link the rhythm of their home life to a quieter, greener, and more intimate setting.
“Pratarmės” extends the lifestyle of Visoriai.
